What services do you offer?

We provide personalized lactation and doula support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.Lactation Services include prenatal breastfeeding education, preparing for baby's arrival, in-home and office consultations, support for feeding challenges, follow-up visits, and breastfeeding classes.Doula Services include trimester-by-trimester education, birth planning, childbirth and labor preparation classes, education for your partner or support person with practical skills and a personalized plan to confidently support you during labor, connections to local resources, postpartum guidance, and a limited number of birth support clients for hospital, birth center, and home births. Birth photography/Fresh 48 Hour is also available as an add-on or as part of select birth support packages and is provided by Brittany Frishman.

What does a doula do? Do you replace my healthcare provider?

No. A doula does not replace your doctor, midwife, or nurse and does not provide medical care, diagnose conditions, or make medical decisions for you. As your doula, I can provide:Prenatal education and birth preparationHelp creating a personalized birth planEvidence-based information to support informed decision-makingContinuous labor support, including comfort measures, positioning, breathing techniques, massage, and encouragementSupport and guidance for your partner so they feel confident and involvedAssistance communicating your preferences and questions with your healthcare teamResources and referrals throughout pregnancy and postpartumMy goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and supported while respecting your birth preferences. I collaborate with your healthcare team, so you receive both excellent medical care and continuous, personalized support throughout your journey.

Yes! You can absolutely hire us just for lactation support. We offer both bundled care packages and single problem-focused visits, depending on your needs. With a variety of plans available, we can tailor our support to meet your unique goals and provide the level of care that's right for you.

Can my friends and I receive a discount if we take a class together?

Yes! If you have a group of three or more participants who would like to take a class together, we offer discounted group rates. It's a great way to learn alongside friends while making your education more affordable. Contact us for group pricing and to schedule your class.

Do you have a backup doula?

Yes! Through the partnership of Brittany Frishman LLC and Hailey Jack LLC, we created BH Prenatal and Lactation Care to provide families with more comprehensive support and reliable care options.One of the benefits of our partnership is that our clients have access to backup care in the event that their primary provider is unavailable due to illness, vacation, or a family emergency. We understand how important it is to have trusted support available when you need it most.We will review backup care options, consent, and all necessary details during your intake process and paperwork at your first appointment so you feel informed and comfortable with your care plan.
